Davalois Fearon Time To Talk
The Wondertwins Black
DAVALOIS FEARON is passionate about creating work that push both artistic and social boundaries. Her choreography is often driven by the aim to confront difficult issues and prompt contemplation. Multimedia elements are used to carry audiences on a journey of ideas. Time to Talk is a dance theater piece that utilizes movement, live music, spoken word, projection art, and dialogue to call attention to racial inequalities within American concert dance and society at large.

THE WONDERTWINS are acclaimed international Heroes of the (Hip Hop) Revolution, performing in the Popping and Locking street style for some 30 years. But even as they sustain a tradition, the Wondertwins, Billy and Bobby McClain, constantly innovate/upend/turn inside out the possibilities of the form, allowing past to morph into future. In their new work, Black, they investigate questions of race in America.
