Masterworks 1: A Voyage to Scandinavia

Masterworks 1 features the three titans of Scandinavian composers.  Writing around the same time, but their compositional style is vastly different. 

The concert opens with the iconic sound of Edvard Grieg and then to the ethereal Nielsen Flute Concerto, performed by Kimberlee Goodman.

The second half is the expansive 5th symphony of Jean Sibelius.
