With an original, record-breaking run of 1466 performances in 4 years at the Theatre Royal in London, 1892, Charley's Aunt has enjoyed several revivals, translations, and film adaptations, and has charmed audiences for over a century. Two young men, Jack and Charley, scheme to catch the admiration of two young ladies by inviting them to meet Charley's worldly and wealthy aunt for dinner. When, at the last minute, she must cancel her visit, Jack and Charley quickly bully their buddy Fancourt Babberley into donning a wig, a skirt and bloomers. All seems to be solved, until the real aunt turns up and hilarity ensues. A classic farce for the whole family!

"Charley's Aunt is a splendidly written piece of light entertainment and bound to make you titter!"
