April of '45
September 22nd, 2018
April of ’45 is a look at the end of WWII from multiple viewpoints, including the combatants, the families left behind, and German civilians. It combines vintage with avant-garde as it explores the experience of two American soldiers struggling to survive the last days of WWII in Europe. Danger is everywhere as they encounter pockets of resistance even as Germany is overrun and subdued at last by the Allied forces. Karl and Vince find that not everything is as “black and white, good vs. evil” as it first appears, and their bond together is tested to the ultimate limit, as there is no guarantee they will live to make it home. . .
