It just isn’t Christmas until you’ve experienced the Peoria Area Civic Chorale’s An American Family Christmas! Join us for beautiful arrangements of traditional carols such as See Amid the Winter’s Snow, The First Noel, Silent Night, and The Holly and the Ivy. Reminisce of Christmas seasons past as we weave a spell of nostalgia with such secular songs as Winter Wonderland, Let it Snow!, I’ll be Home for Christmas, Sleigh Ride, Here Comes Santa Claus and many more! 

Each performance will feature the Civic Chorale, the Civic Chorale’s Youth Chorus, a performance by one of our Young Artist Competition winners and our special featured soloist for Christmas 2018, Penelope Shumate.

As always, our Friday night performance will also include performances by two outstanding, 90-voice Youth Choruses, the Children’s Festival Chorus and the Junior High Festival Chorus, representing young talented singers from throughout Central Illinois.  A special dessert reception sponsored by Bob Lindsay Honda & Acura will follow our Saturday evening performance. 

On Saturday night the bus is canceled but if you mention the Civic Chrale at  2Chez  (7815 N Knoxville Ave, Peoria) or Harvest Supper Club (Junction City, 5901 N Prospect Ave) you will still receive a complimentary appetizer.
