Corvallis Comedy Night with
Josh Gondelman
January 19th @ 7:30 pm
Starker Auditorium
Tickets: $14
As our public discourse continues to morph into a Comedy Central Roast of escalating insults, Josh Gondelman is trying something that feels revolutionary: Being nice. A self-described “human cardigan,” Josh has spent the last decade spreading his sunny brand of comedy across a variety of media. As a stand-up, Josh has appeared on Conan, Late Night with Seth Meyers and Comedy Central. As a writer, he’s won both Emmy and Peabody Awards for his work on Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, and has had numerous humor pieces published in such outlets as The New York Times and The New Yorker. And as if that wasn’t enough, he is also a true master of Twitter, famous for his five-minute pep talks, the creation of the Modern Seinfeld account, and his prodigious pug documentation. Right now he’s supposed to be writing a book for Harper that’s due out in Fall 2019, but he’s decided to come do Corvallis Comedy Night instead. What a nice guy!
