Join the Palos Verdes Symphonic Band on Saturday, March 16 at 7:30 PM at the Norris Theater in Palos Verdes as we survey the vast and varied literature of American composers in a concert entitled “Old, New, Borrowed, Blue." The band will perform works by award-winning composer W. Francis McBeth, movie and television orchestrator and arranger Julie Giroux, and Augsburg College professor Erika Svanoe, among many others. Pianist Haesung Park will join the band to perform a concert band arrangement of Gershwin’s beloved composition, "Rhapsody in Blue."
