Pat Tomasulo is literally "The Man of the People" and since you spend 5 mornings a week with Pat on the WGN morning show, now spend the evening with him, as well, for one night of stand-up comedy.
The WGN sports anchor for Chicago’s number one rated “WGN Morning show” arrived in Chicago in 2005 and has never looked back! Nationally Pat was chosen as one of the top five broadcasters to sit along side Kelly Rippa as co-host on “Live with Regis and Kelly” and from there one of the hosts of the reality show “Shaq Vs” featuring hall of fame basketball superstar Shaquille O’Neal.
Pat began injecting humor into his sports reports along with hilarious pre recorded clips that he both wrote and produced as well as his now famous “man on the street” talking to passerbys on a corner with a camera and a microphone. It wasn’t long after this that Pat went out and took his natural timing and sense of humor and decided to give stand-up comedy a try. No one worked harder to perfect his craft than Pat did as he traveled to any venue in the city that would put him on stage to perform sometimes 6 or 7 nights a week! Today Pat is one of the top headliners in the country playing sold out shows wherever he performs. A year ago Pat decided he apparently wasn’t busy enough so he approached WGN about his own show idea starring Pat himself called “Man of the people” that would air every Saturday night and thank god they agreed because “Man of the people” did so well in year one that it was renewed for a second full year!
So come and enjoy a night of stand up comedy with Pat Tomasulo along with his opening act veteran stand up comedian from the WGN radio “Steve Cochran show” John Da Cosse.
