Spring for the Arts is the Guild’s annual luncheon, fashion show, raffle and arts market in support of Arts in Education.

For 49 years, the Creative Arts Guild has partnered with the O.N. Jonas Foundation and participating schools’ parents’ organizations to bring resident artists to students. Through this program, arts experiences are provided in the Dalton Public, Whitfield County, and Murray County schools systems, and at the Elbert Shaw Regional Detention Center, Crossroads Academy, Mountain Creek Academy, and Northstar School. In 2016, these arts education programs created 33,905 arts experiences for the students enrolled in these schools. Proceeds from the event help support this partnership as well as all other Arts in Education programs at the Creative Arts Guild including arts scholarships, field trips and educational arts classes.
