The exciting septet brilliantly captures the essential charm and vibrant energy of jazz – America’s musical heritage, playing over a half century of jazz styles, from early New Orleans dixieland and blues, to big band swing and popular standards. Feel the searing rhythms of “Sing, Sing, Sing,” and savor the lush harmonies of “Stardust” and “Mood Indigo” as The Side Street Strutters weave a delicate tapestry of beautiful ballads, whimsical novelty selections, and powerful, challenging arrangements which showcase the individual artistry of each performer. Their entertaining show-style presentation also includes colorful costumes, tap dancing, vocal selections, novelty numbers, and the use of rare and unusual musical instruments. The group’s superb musicianship and award-winning orchestrations have made them a favorite at European and U.S. jazz festivals, as well as the honor of being invited for a guest presidential performance at the White House.

PVPA has a “no refund” policy. All ticket sales are final and non-refundable. There are no refunds unless an event is cancelled and not replaced. If a Subscriber cannot make a performance and the PVPA Box Office is notified in writing at least 14 days in advance of the performance, they will have the opportunity to choose one of the following options:

Add additional tickets to another Cabaret Jazz performance (depending on availability of tickets),
Switch to a Produced or Presents Series Show in Season 36 for a $10 per ticket exchange fee and pay difference if any in ticket price, or
Donate the ticket to our Friends fund (Subscriber will get donation credit if this option is chosen.)
