Jim Curry Presents the Music of John Denver - Saturday, August 27, 2016.

Special Evening Sponsors - Sharp Insurance, NAPA Auto Parts, Nussbaum Auto Body, and AAA Advanced Pest Control

Jim is not your usual “Vegas style” impersonator. In fact, he is not an impersonator at all. Jim sings, in his own natural voice, a tribute to the music in a way that has to be seen and heard to understand the pure honesty of his amazing performance. His looks and his voice are simply a pleasant coincidence that captures the true essence of John Denver’s music. Curry’s heartfelt delivery rolls out into the crowd as multi-platinum hits like “Rocky Mountain High,” “Annie’s Song” and “Calypso” fill the room.

Jim will be backed up by his 3-piece tribute band that will transport you back to the phenomenal music that made Johnd Denver one of the highest selling artists in history.

All show only tickets are $18.00. Add an additional $15 to enjoy a special BBQ Pot roast dinner.

This event has two shows with a 4:00 PM matinee and a 7:30 PM evening show. Dinner served at 6:00 PM.

Voice Male - Friday, September 16, 2016 at the Bear Lake Middle School

Special Evening Sponsors - Insurance Designers & Bear Lake Car Care

Voice Male is comprised of 6 unique individuals who somehow found each other over 18 years ago. John Luthy came up with the Voice Male concept while singing with some of the guys in the Logan LDS Institute Choir. Initially it took nine of them to cover all the parts, but a couple of years later they decided they no longer needed the nose flute player, the cowbell ringer, and the guy who claps, so they trimmed themselves down to just 6. Actually, some members had to move on and be grown-ups, so they decided to give it a go with just 6.

Over the years, they have had some pretty cool opportunities to sing in exotic locations (San Pete County) and for some pretty great people (their moms). Considering this is not their day job, they are lucky to pull together and accomplish anything at this point. They all graduated into careers ranging from Computer Networking (Nerd) to Real Estate to Law. When they are not working or singing, they are enjoying time with their supportive wives and children. The latest tally: 23 children who like to call each other Voice Male Cousins. As families grow, hair thins, and hips break, they hope to keep chuggin' along. As long as you'll keep listening, they'll keep singing.

Reserved tickets are $18 for adults, $14 youth and $8 for children.

The Bear Lake Middle School doors open at 7:00 pm and 7:30 PM for the show.

Sons of the Pioneers - Saturday, November 5, 2016 at the Bear Lake Middle School.

Special Evening Sponsors - The Flower Bin, Todd Hunzeker Ford, and State Farm Insurance

The legends have arrived in Montpelier, Idaho in the form of the Sons of the Pioneers!

First started by Roy Rogers and the gifted songwriters Bob Nolan and Tim Spencer the group garnered national and international fans through appearances in almost 100 western films during the ‘30s, ‘40s and ‘50s. Numerous albums were recorded under contracts with Decca, Columbia, RCA and others. The group provided songs for several John Ford westerns including the soundtrack for “The Searchers” starring John Wayne. When television came along they regularly appeared on the Roy Rogers Show and had guest appearances on such programs as the Barbara Mandrell Show. Walt Disney called upon the Pioneers to supply the soundtrack for the film “Pecos Bill”. They were the first cowboy musical group to perform at Carnegie Hall and the first to headline in Las Vegas casinos.

The current group’s configuration is part of a continuous and uninterrupted 80 year existence in which they have accumulated more coveted honors and awards than anyone in Western music. The group has been inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame, the Western Music Association Hall of Fame and the National Cowboy Hall of Fame among others. The Smithsonian Institute named them as “National Treasures”.

Their original songs like “Tumbling Tumbleweeds”, “Cool Water” and “Ghost Riders in the Sky” are classics forever entwined into the lore and mystique of the American West. Both “Tumbleweeds” and “Cool Water” have been inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.

Reserved seating is $25 for adult tickets, $18 youth ages 8-15, and $12 children ages 7 & under. A pre-show dinner option of our signature Prime Rib or Halibut dinner is avaiable for an additional $22 and will be served at 6:00 PM at the National Oregon/California Trail Center..
