The Tempest

By (and with apologies to)
William Shakespeare

AUGUST 4 - 12

Boldly re-imagined, this Shakespearean tale tells the story of the pirate Prospero and his innocent daughter Miranda, who, after years of banishment on a deserted island with only fairies for company, seek revenge and find love among the victims of a stormy shipwreck. Local musicians and OnStage’s youthful Tempest Dancers energize this classic with Celtic music, pirate shanties, and dance.
