Detroit Sound Conservancy: 'Celebrating Club Heaven'

May 17th, 2024- 7:00pm

Celebrating Club Heaven

Detroit Sound Conservancy presents a celebration of Heaven, the legendary gay Detroit nightclub that inspired a generation of Black LGBT youth in the heart of Detroit. Club Heaven was beloved by dancers and DJs for its one-of-a-kind sound crafted by renowned DJ Ken Collier and amplified through the space by a custom hand-built sound system. As part of our mission to preserve and amplify the history of Detroit’s musical heritage, DSC is proud to present this night featuring stories shared by Club Heaven’s community followed by a tribute to the music of Heaven.
