​Abu Raed is an old airport janitor who has always yearned of seeing the world but has never been able to afford to travel. One day a group of children in his poor neighborhood assume he is a pilot and beg him to share stories of the world outside of Amman, Jordan. Through imaginary tales a friendship forms and he finds the grim realities of the children's home life. He takes it upon himself to make a difference.

Celebrating Timothy Smith's 10th season as Music Director/Conductor of CCCO, this set looks backwards and forwards. The Brahms Haydn Variations is reprised from Maestro Smith's first season, and is paired with the world premiere of a fanfare by California composer Ray Burkhart, based on Haydn's St. Anthony Chorale - the basis of Brahm's work. Bay area Bassoon phenom, Paul Hanson plays Mozart, and a work of his own that showcases his talents as a composer and improvisor. A work by 16th century French composer, Francois Couperin is head in a more modern orchestration by fellow countryman Darius Milhaud. Now and Then!

They must choose between their hearts and the future of the tribe, while the villagers must wrestle with preserving their traditional culture and adapting it to the increasing outside demands for individual freedom. TANNA is based on a true story and performed by the people of Yakel in Vanuatu.

This superb adaptation captures all the magic and charm of everyone's favorite story. The Darling children love to hear of Peter Pan’s adventures during his visits through the open window of the nursery. Then one night after Nana has taken his shadow and Wendy has sewn it back on, Peter Pan and Tinker Bell whisk the children off to Neverland to be part of the adventures. Wendy, John and Michael become friends with the Lost Boys and Princess Tiger Lily and Wendy becomes everyone’s mother. When the evil Captain Hook captures Wendy and the Lost Boys, Peter Pan comes to their rescue. Together with the ticking crocodile, Peter Pan puts Captain Hook in his place and returns the Darling children to their home.
