| Mr. Burns: A Post Electric Play
February 28, March 1, 6, 7 & 8, 2025 at 7:30pm
March 2 & 8, 2025 at 2:00pm
Theatre
$14 General, $12 Students/Seniors, $8 Groups (10 or more)
What happens to pop culture after the fall of human civilization? What about 7 years after the fall? Or even 75 years? Mr. Burns, a Post-Electric Play, seeks to find out.
In this post-catastrophic future where the grid has failed, society has crumbled, and memories can no longer be stored on hard drives, a group of survivors come together to rebuild their world through the life-affirming act of telling stories under the stars during which time they begin to recount an episode of The Simpsons, "Cape Feare."
Over the course of the play’s three acts and three-quarters of a century timespan, we see the evolution of storytelling, and one Simpsons episode evolves into a myth and legend for a post-apocalyptic world.

Gorgeous... hauntingly beautiful" - Los Angeles Times
"Critic's Pick... a marvelous period drama" - Backstage West
Dorothy and William Wordsworth were brother and sister, living in the Lake District. Their history is only slightly covered in the history books while their writing reveals much more about their lives and longings. They lived in a small cottage in Grasmere. They both wrote - William (deemed "the father of Romantic Poetry”) had his poems, while Dorothy had her journals.
Grasmere is a play about love, loss and passions. Part fact, part fiction.
Four friends discover each other when their lives begin to unravel – addictions take hold, love develops, and Dorothy finds herself experiencing emotions that she can’t begin to describe.
The almost true story of poets in longing.
