SH-BOOM! Take a trip to Springfield and meet Danny and the Dreamers, a fledgling doo-wop singing group preparing to enter the big Whopper Radio contest to realize their dreams of making it to the big time! Trouble comes in the form of Lois who arrives to put some polish on the boys. Denny falls in love, Wally falls in line, Eugene falls apart, and along comes handsome heartthrob Skip to send the whole situation spinning.

This hilarious musical comedy celebrates twenty of the most classic doo-wop hits of the 1950s and early 1960s. Hits include: Runaround Sue, The Wanderer, Unchained Melody, Duke of Earl, Fools Fall in Love, Devil or Angel, Earth Angel & MORE.

It will leave you laughing, singing, and cheering!!

Performances open Sunday, June 30th and run through Wednesday, July 31st. Saturday shows are at 6:00pm and Wednesday's & Sunday's matinees are at 2:00pm. There are also three matinees on Saturdays in July: 13th, 20th, & 27th.

Frost Fire Park also hosts a delicious buffet served before each performance in the comfort of the Frost Fire Lodge. Come early and dine with us while enjoying the scenic beauty of the Pembina Gorge. The buffet service begins at 11:30am up to matinee showtime and at 4:00pm until the 6:00pm performance. Cost of buffet is $13.00

And while you are, here don't forget to give yourself time to visit Hattie's Closet, our unique little gift shop located on the grounds near the theatre. You are sure to find some wonderful treasures, souvenirs and gift items to take home with you. Hattie's Closet is open at noon during the matinee dates and 4:00pm before the evening shows.

Join us for an evening of electricity and music hosted by the Prince of Twang and second-generation Rockabilly Hall of Famer, ROBBY VEE. Robby is currently touring with his rock and roll caravan of stars in the tradition of his family heritage: at fairs, festivals, casinos and theaters.

This celebration of the golden era of rock-n-roll features a video and musical tip of the hat to the architects & legends of the genre.

It includes musical tributes to: Twang Guitar (Chuck Berry, Duane Eddy, Ventures, Dick Dale), (father) Bobby Vee & Buddy Holly Feb 3rd "the day the music died", Memphis & Sun Records with the music of Elvis, Cash, Lewis & Perkins, Dick Clark & American Bandstand, a salute to Vinyl Records, and also a Traditional Americana Roots tribute spanning from Hank Williams and Bob Dylan to Bluegrass, Hillbilly Music & 'good ol' foot stompin' hip shaken' a-wop-bop-allu bop Rock-n-Roll !'
