MUSICAL! It’s time again when Muskrat Lodge 3412 elects officers and Ole has decided to throw his hat in the ring and run against longtime nemesis, Knut Knutson, lodge president for the past 20 years. Knutson, proprietor of Knutson’s Heating, Air Conditioning and Live Bait Shop
is one of Potsdam’s “shakers and movers” and has been a thorn in Ole’s side since they were kids in school. Lena says Ole spends far too much time at that smelly old lodge already and thinks this is one of the most hair brained ideas Ole has ever had.
Will Lena talk Ole out of the political limelight or cave in to the glamour of being “first lady of the lodge”? Be a part of all of the craziness yourself when you, the audience, determine the outcome in this laugh riot “Ole Runs for Office”!

Based on the true story of eleven WI members who posed nude for a calendar to raise money for the Leukaemia Research Fund. When tragedy strikes Annie’s husband she and best friend Chris resolve to raise money and manage to persuade four fellow WI members to pose nude with them for an "alternative" calendar, with a little help from hospital porter and amateur photographer Lawrence. The news of the women's charitable venture spreads like wildfire, and hordes of press soon descend on the small village of Knapeley in the Yorkshire Dales. The calendar is a success, but Chris and Annie's friendship is put to the test under the strain of their new-found fame. Based on the true story of eleven WI members who posed nude for a calendar to raise money for the Leukaemia Research Fund, Calendar Girls opened at the Chichester Festival Theatre and has since become the fastest selling play in British theatre history.

Heartland Ballet Presents
SOARING

The Heartland Ballet takes flight, celebrating the 51st year of its parent company Dubuque City Youth Ballet (DCYB) by presenting two new works. Artistic Director Marina O'Rourke will unveil a new, original interpretation of the ballet Firebird set to the glorious music by Igor Stravinsky. Megan MacLeod, Artist-in-Residence, will then present an original contemporary work which will feature the versatile, classically trained dancers of the company. The program, SOARING, is the perfect vehicle to launch DCYB into its next 50 years, deeply rooted in the company's rich Russian traditions yet innovative and vital, breaking boundaries and exploring new horizons.

Based on the books by P.L. Travers and the classic Walt Disney film, this special 2019 Summer Event is sure to be fun for the whole family – featuring a score of your favorite songs from the original Disney movie from “Spoonful of Sugar” to “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious”.
The jack-of-all trades, Bert, introduces us to England in 1910 and the troubled Banks family. Young Jane and Michael have sent many a nanny packing before Mary Poppins arrives on their doorstep. Using a combination of magic and common sense, she must teach the family members how to value each other again. Mary Poppins takes the children on many magical and memorable adventures, but Jane and Michael aren't the only ones upon whom she has a profound effect. Even grown-ups can learn a lesson or two from the nanny who advises that "Anything can happen if you let it."
Presented as our only Summer Musical in 2019. This enchanting mixture of irresistible story, unforgettable songs, breathtaking dance numbers and astonishing stagecraft will run for 3 high-flying and magical weekends in July.
