GLAD ALL OVER! - a Tribute to the BRITISH INVASION

February 1964: The Beatles appear on Ed Sullivan...

America succumbs to BEATLEMANIA and the British Invasion begins!

"GLAD ALL OVER" - THE BRITISH INVASION celebrates England's greatest music.  From 1964 to 1966, the UK supplied a steady stream of hits from across the Atlantic.  The Beatles 1st American release 'MEET THE BEATLES" was gently nudged off the charts by songs from their fellow countrymen, The Dave Clark Five ("Glad All Over"), Peter & Gordon ("A World Without Love") and Manfred Mann ("Do Wah Diddy Diddy"). Before long, acts like the Rolling Stones and Herman's Hermits would become regular fixtures on US radio.

By the time the Beatles reclaimed the charts with their third album, "A HARD DAY'S NIGHT", England's place in Rock and Roll History was undeniable.

Performed by international 60's band THE RAVE ON'S! - a 5 piece band who have performed throughout Ontario as well as the US since the 50th Anniversary of the Beatles 1964 arrival.

Highlights have included: Canada Day, Toronto & Port Credit, ON; Zoomer's exhibition, Toronto ON; TD Bank 50th Anniversary, Toronto ON; Del Lago Casino, Syracuse NY...

This high energy show captures the spirit of the early 60's when rock and roll was new... all over again!!
