Kirk Players Adult Summer Workshop & One-Act Play Performances
This summer, we're excited to combine our popular Adult Workshop with our One-Act Play Performances!
Our Artistic Director, Patrick Blake, will lead the workshop, focusing on scene work. Participants have the flexibility to:
- Read for one of our four exciting One-Act Plays.
- Focus solely on scene work.
- Do both!
On our first night, we'll hold readings to assign casts and scenes.
This year's four captivating One-Act plays, winners from our spring writing contest, include:
"A Spot of Miscommunication" by Jess Motyka (directed by Jess Motyka)
British English and American English collide when meeting the parents. (2F, 2M)
"Matchmaker" by Nicole Lawrence (directed by Barb Selvaggio)
A hilarious speed-dating encounter. (2-6F, 2M)
"Chaperones" by Keith Whalen (directed by Teddi Santos)
