Billy Elliot, the Musical

November 1, 2, 8, 19, 15 & 16, 2019 at 8:00 pm November 3 and 10, 2019 at 3:00 pm

Based on the international smash-hit film, and featuring a score by music legend Elton John, Billy Elliot the Musical, is a heart-warming, funny and feel-good celebration of family and adolescence. Set against the backdrop of the 1984-85 miners' strike, we follow the journey of a young boy raised in a small British mining town. Stepping out of the boxing ring and into a ballet class, he discovers a passion for dance that inspires his family, community, and changes his life forever.

The Drowsy Chaperone

March 6, 7, 13, 14, 20 & 21, 2020 at 8:00 pm March 8 and 5, 2020 at 3:00 pm

Winner of 5 Tony Awards including Best Book and Best Original Score, The Drowsy Chaperone is a Jazz Age parody of American musical comedy of the 1920s. This uproarious show-within-a-show concerns a middle-aged asocial musical theatre superfan; as he plays the record of his favorite musical, the (fictional) 1928 hit The Drowsy Chaperone, the show comes to life onstage in his shabby high-rise apartment. Lovers on the eve of their wedding, desperate bumbling friends, not-so-bright characters, imposters, and more perform one toe-tapping musical number after another.

Rumors

May 1, 2, 8 &, 9, 2020 at 8:00 pm                           May 3, 2020 at 3:00 pm

At the large, tastefully-appointed Sneden's Landing Townhouse, the Deputy Mayor of New York has just shot himself on the eve of his tenth wedding anniversary celebration. Though only a flesh wound, the host lies bleeding in the other room, and his wife Myra is nowhere in sight. Expecting four more couples at any minute, his lawyer, Ken, and Ken's wife, Chris, must get "the story" straight before the other guests arrive. As the confusions and mis-communications mount, the evening spins off into classic farcical hilarity.
