Nimbus Dance Fall Season

November 8 & 9, 8pm

For its 20th Anniversary season, Nimbus Dance presents a world premiere by renowned choreographer Pedro Ruiz.  The duet, languid and reverent, features dancers Caleb Mansor and Tamir Rios locked in physical harmonies evocative of two swallows in flight.

Also featured: a revival of the stirring and divine “Six Chansons” choreographed by Samuel Pott and premiered in 2011. 

Both works will be accompanied live by the resonant sounds of the New Jersey choral group Terpsichore Ensemble, directed by Dr. Colin Britt.

Finally, a celebratory reprise of audience favorite: Dawn Marie Bazemore’s joyous and crowd-rousing 2019 work, “The After Party,” Set to the music of Nina Simone and Nancy Wilson.
