In 1994 Kurt Cobain passed into rock history.  Twenty years later, history comes alive as South Sound musicians unite to remember a native son.  Local bands Mosquito Hawk, The Hard Way, Under Sin, featuring Nirvana’s original drummer Aaron Burckhard, Full Moon Radio, and Gebular pay homage to the memory of Kurt Cobain, his far reaching impact still inspiring music artists today.

Filmed live as part of the Olympia Film Collective’s documentary ’20 A.C’, these five electrifying bands cover the hits of Nirvana, as well as showcase the evolution of the South Sound with their original tunes.  Come relive the energy of the “Seattle” sound where it all began.

John Zielinski calls himself “the most blacklisted author in the history of Iowa.” For 25 years he has worked tirelessly to expose corruption and injustice. Unfortunately, it has cost him his family, his career, and his home. Meanwhile his true talent—photography—lies dormant.

This one-of-a-kind nonfiction portrait draws on 50 years of photographs, 8mm film, VHS and Mini-DV footage. There will be a Q&A after the screening with co-director & co-editor Ryan Walker, who now lives in Olympia and operates Fountain Green Films.  For more information:
