Join us for a morning filled with
music, movement, and more! 3rd through 6th graders are invited to come play fun opera based games and activities with Miss Emily. This is a great opportunity for a child who is interested in music to meet new friends and gain confidence as a performer. A snack will be provided, and everyone will receive a Take Home Tips packet full of opera info! The length of the workshop is 2 hours.

THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK

Based on the original text of the famous diary Anne Frank kept as she hid with her family in the attic of her father’s Amsterdam office, this opera is a deeply moving self-portrait of a courageous young girl and her unending hope for freedom.

Featuring Kathleen Buccleugh as Anne Frank, David Verin, percussion, and Lester Seigel, music director. Sung in English with projected English text. Interpreted in American Sign Language (ASL). The length of the opera is approximately 1 hour.
