	Sing & Play - Opera Education for Children Saturday, January 25th at 9:00 AM Saturday, February 22nd at 9:00 AM Saturday, March 15th at 9:00 AM Saturday, April 26th at 9:00 AM Opera Birmingham Office Join us for a morning filled with music, movement, and more! 3rd through 6th graders are invited to come play fun opera based games and activities with Miss Emily. This is a great opportunity for a child who is interested in music to meet new friends and gain confidence as a performer. 	THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK Saturday, April 5, 2025 at 8:00 PM Sunday, April 6, 2025 at 2:30 PM Dorothy Jemison Day Theater at Alabama School of Fine Arts Based on the original text of the famous diary Anne Frank kept as she hid with her family in the attic of her father’s Amsterdam office, this opera is a deeply moving self-portrait of a courageous young girl and her unending hope for freedom. Featuring Kathleen Buccleugh as Anne Frank, David Verin, percussion, and Lester Seigel, music director. Sung in English with projected English text. Interpreted in American Sign Language (ASL).
