Sometimes life doesn’t go according to plan. And sometimes, when life knocks you down, you discover just how many people are standing beside you, ready to help you get back up again.

Get Back Up Again: A Benefit Cabaret is an evening of music, laughter, friendship and new beginnings, featuring Pamela alongside an incredible group of talented friends from throughout her years in music and theatre.

After a year filled with unexpected change, Pamela is beginning a brand-new chapter with her two girls. Get Back Up Again is a celebration of the wonderful village that surrounds her—the friends, family and community who have stood beside her, held her up through the difficult days, made her laugh when she needed it most, and reminded her that getting back up doesn’t have to mean doing it alone.

Through Broadway favourites, pop and rock classics, powerhouse vocals, ridiculous comedy and a few moments that may require tissues, the evening celebrates resilience, friendship, hope and finding joy in the middle of starting over.

More than anything, Get Back Up Again is a love letter to community—to the people who answer the phone, bring the food, make you laugh, sit beside you through the hard days and help you find your feet again.

Proceeds from the evening will support Pamela and her girls as they start a new chapter and build a bright new life together.

Former Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada, Indigenous leader and bestselling author Jody Wilson-Raybould joins Authors on Stage with The Inbetween Leader: Cultivating Courage and Unity in a Complex World, co-authored with lawyer and educator Roshan Danesh.

Drawing on Indigenous governance traditions and real-world leadership experience, the book explores how we can bridge differences, move beyond traditional hierarchies and create stronger workplaces, communities and relationships without erasing the perspectives that make us different.

Charting the seminal moments, rites of passage and turning points in an adult life – your life – from the day you turn 25 through to your death, Age is a Feeling celebrates the glorious and melancholy unknowability of human life, from you, the audience.

Following its critically acclaimed premiere at Edinburgh and Soho and transfer to Toronto’s Soulpepper, the Olivier-nominated and Fringe First winning Age is a Feeling completes our Season of Discovery here at Theatre Orangeville.
