ORS Returns to Live Performance!

Seating is limited to 50% occupancy.

**Proof of vaccination and masks required for all audience members and performers.**

The Promise of Living is the final chorus from Aaron Copland’s opera The Tender Land which was based on the pictures and stories of American resilience in the wake of the Great Depression. In our first live concert since the Covid-era began, Oregon Repertory Singers invites you to hear music that affirms the resilience of the human spirit. We will also present the Portland premieres of Norwegian composer Kim Andre Arnesen’s Infinity and Filipino-American composer Matthew Lyon Hazzard’s The Prow, alongside favorites by Northwest composers Morten Lauridsen, Naomi LaViolette, and Stacey Philipps and classics by Carlos Guastavino and, of course, Aaron Copland. Please join us for our joyous return to the concert hall in October.

Concerts are 1 hour; No intermission
