Synopsis: A riveting classic for ages 13+
The brave Antigone dares death to bury her brother's corpse against the decree of the King, her uncle Creon. In spite of her love for Creon's son and the promise of a golden future, Antigone chooses to stand up to oppression and give her brother his rightful burial no matter the cost. First performed in German occupied France, this adaptation of the Greek tale utilizes modern language and humor to bring the classic tale to life.

Synopsis:
It’s that time of year again! The fictional (yet familiar) staff of a local community theatre must work together to create the best Holiday Gala that they can muster. But with an intervening boss, an intimidating Board of Directors and their own conflicting visions of “the perfect holiday”, can they end up creating the most wonderful show of the year? The evening is filled with witty banter, nostalgic recollections and your favorite seasonal tunes. Led by a cast of your favorite BHCT performers from this past season, there is also an in-hose band. Special Guests galore and even a chance for YOU to sing along!

Synopsis:
More than 20 musicians with ties to the Black Hills and South Dakota will take to the stage of the Historic Theatre in the Performing Arts Center for A Holiday Collage on Saturday, December 20th.
From big-band brilliance and Broadway sizzle to stripped-down storytelling, this show brings new life to the holiday classics, soaring ballads, and timeless standards that define the season.
Featuring Broadway rising star Adante Carter, the expressive and soulful vocalist Leslie Hopton, The South Dakota Jazz Orchestra directed by Danny Thornburg, and trumpeter Alex Massa, A Holiday Collage will send you dancing into a winter wonderland.
Plus - An after party in the lobby of the Performing Arts Center sponsored by Lost Cabin Beer Co. & Nell's Gourmet following the 6:00pm show.
A portion of this year's proceeds directly benefit Improvise Arts.
