A fabulously fun musical based on the adored movie and novel by Amanda Brown, the production follows the transformation of Elle Woods from California socialite to Harvard honor student as she tackles stereotypes and scandal in pursuit of her dreams, all while keeping her style and positive attitude.
Featuring music and lyrics by Laurence O’Keefe and Neil Benjamin and book by Heather Hach, this show is so much fun, you could say it shouldn’t be legal.
More than 20 Bay Area talented performers, ages 12-20, will light up the stage with non-stop memorable songs and dynamic dances. The show will also mark the stage debut of Lexi, a three-year old long-coat Chihuahua in the coveted role of Bruiser Woods, and the triumphant return of Daisy, a ten-year-old Australian Shepherd, as Rufus. Both dogs were cast from an open audition held at the Peninsula Humane Society and SPCA.
