Arts Legacy Awards
The Arts Legacy Awards started in 2021 as a way to acknowledge and celebrate the legacy Black artists have made in Greensboro. Honorees this year include:
This formal ceremony will include an awards ceremony dinner wiht honorees and their guests as well as a tribute show designed to honor thehir service to our community. Greensboro has a rich arts history, but unfortunately, we don’t hear much about the contributions of Black arts institutions, artists, and arts administrators and we want to take time during Juneteenth to acknowledge and thank them for their contributions.
