The Winter Dance Showcase 2026 includes performances from Dance I, Dance II, Ridge Dance Team, Ridge Dance Collective, National Honor Society for Dance Arts, Dance 8 (WAMS Dance Elective Course) and the Social Skills Dance class. Faculty, guest artist and student choreography will be presented. The theme of this showcase is "Disney's Heroes and Villains"; all dances are inspired by Disney's greatest heroes and most wicked villains. This is an evening of dance not to be missed! | | Ridge HS Drama Club presents...Cameron Mackintosh and Disney's Mary Poppins
One of the most popular Disney movies of all time is capturing hearts in a whole new way: as a practically perfect musical! Based on the books by P.L. Travers and the classic Walt Disney film, Cameron Mackintosh and Disney's Mary Poppins delighted Broadway audiences for over 2,500 performances and received nominations for nine Olivier and seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical.
The jack-of-all trades, Bert, introduces us to England in 1910 and the troubled Banks family. Young Jane and Michael have sent many a nanny packing before Mary Poppins arrives on their doorstep. Using a combination of magic and common sense, she must teach the family members how to value each other again. Mary Poppins takes the children on many magical and memorable adventures, but Jane and Michael aren't the only ones upon whom she has a profound effect. Even grown-ups can learn a lesson or two from the nanny who advises that "Anything can happen if you let it."
Mary Poppins is an enchanting mixture of irresistible story, unforgettable songs, breathtaking dance numbers and astonishing stagecraft. This show is a perfect opportunity to showcase a strong, iconic female performer, as well as unique special effects and illusions.

THIS PERFORMANCE WILL BE AT WILLIAM ANNIN MIDDLE SCHOOL
After a tornado whisks her away to the magical land of Oz, young Dorothy Gale teams up with a Scarecrow, a Tin Woodsman and a Cowardly Lion to find the mighty Wizard of Oz, who can send her home. Along the way, they must avoid the clutches of the Wicked Witch of the West, who is trying to steal the mysterious magic slippers that once belonged to her evil sister... but are now on Dorothy's feet. Dorothy eventually learns just how magical friendship can be and how wonderful it can feel to go home again.
