Swing into Spring: A Fundraiser Benefiting the Salisbury Symphony

Featuring The Blue Standard Jazz Ensemble

Step into an age of elegance and exuberance at the Salisbury Symphony’s Spring Fundraiser: A 1930s Swing Soirée. Join us as we celebrate the timeless glamour of the swing era with an unforgettable evening of music, dancing, fine dining, and community spirit.

The evening begins with an open-bar cocktail hour, graciously presented by the Salisbury Wine Shop, where guests may indulge in classic libations and lively conversation. As twilight deepens, the Blue Standard Jazz Ensemble—comprising distinguished faculty and talented students of Livingstone College—will set the stage aglow with the spirited rhythms and smooth sophistication of the 1930s.

Guests will delight in an elegant dinner catered by The Buttercup Café, followed by an evening of swing dancing, led by professional dancers who will bring the spirit of a grand ballroom to life.

We invite you to don your finest vintage attire and join us for a night of grace, glamour, and generosity—all in support of the Salisbury Symphony and its enduring mission to enrich our community through music.
