Experience the enduring power of storytelling with the latest offering from TBA’s acclaimed Folk’s Tales. Trouble Tales delves into the heart of what it means to face adversity, using humor, music, and dynamic storytelling to highlight the lessons learned when things go awry. Join us for an evening where imagination meets reflection, and where every tale—no matter how troublesome—offers wisdom, hope, and a sense of community. Discover why TBA Theatre’s Folk’s Tales series continues to inspire and delight.

This show takes place in the TBA Studio Amphitheatre outdoor tent (635 W. 54th Ave) and is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes long with no intermission.

Concessions will be available prior to the start of the show. Restrooms are available in the TBA Studio which has some stairs at the entrance. Seating is limited, so advanced purchase is recommended.

Dark Carnival weaves together haunting characters, mysterious happenings, and the timeless allure of the traveling carnival. Audiences will be drawn into a tapestry of suspense, wonder, and the darker corners of human nature. Enter if you dare—what you discover inside may change you forever.

Dark Carnival runs approximately 1 hour with no intermission.

Jeepers Creepers' Gleeful Halloween Sing-off

Join a cast of your favorite quirky monsters, and magical misfits for a musical showdown like no other. Featuring toe-tapping tunes, side-splitting antics, and plenty of audience participation, this family-friendly musical comedy is a joyous romp through autumn’s most enchanting holiday. Don your costumes, bring your singing voice, and join TBA Theatre for a Halloween event you’ll never forget!

This show runs approximately 50 and includes Trick-or-Treating after the show.

The Lion, the Witch, & the Wardrobe

Step through the wardrobe and into the magical world of Narnia in this captivating stage adaptation of C.S. Lewis’s timeless novel. Follow the extraordinary journey of the Pevensie siblings—Lucy, Edmund, Susan, and Peter—who are swept from wartime Britain into a land where it is always winter but never Christmas. In Narnia, the children encounter unforgettable characters: a talking faun, the majestic lion Aslan, and the formidable White Witch, whose icy reign threatens all that is good. As they navigate enchanted forests and join forces with Narnia’s inhabitants, the siblings must find the courage to stand together, confront evil, and embrace the power of sacrifice and hope.

This show will run approximately 90 minutes including one 10 minute intermission.

Antigone

Set in the ancient city of Thebes, Antigone is a powerful Greek tragedy by Sophocles that explores the conflict between personal conscience and state law. After a brutal civil war, Antigone, the courageous daughter of Oedipus, defies the decree of her uncle, King Creon, by burying her brother Polyneices, who has been branded a traitor and denied funeral rites. Through its timeless themes of justice, loyalty, fate, and the dangers of absolute power, Antigone challenges audiences to consider the price of standing up for one’s beliefs and the tragic costs of human stubbornness.

Perfect for audiences of all ages, this musical celebrates the triumph of individuality and the power of believing in happily ever after.

This show will run approximately 2.5 hours including a 15 minute intermission.
