It's a Tony Starlight Christmas!

Remember the classic holiday TV shows of your childhood, when entertainers like Bing Crosby and Dean Martin spread the holiday cheer far and wide and you couldn’t help but feel the warmth and glow of the season? Now in its 13th season, It’s a Tony Starlight Christmas brings back these uplifting holiday traditions and puts a fresh, comedic spin on them.

Tony has joined forces with Bo Ayars (arranger and conductor for Liberace, Elvis Presley, Barbra Streisand) to put together a music and comedy Christmas program no other. Swinging holiday standards, comedy routines that lampoon Millennial and Generation X culture, impressions of Dean Martin, Bing Crosby, Jimmy Durante, Neil Diamond, Louis Armstrong and more. Tony and Barbara Ayars also perform songs from such holiday classics as The Grinch Who Stole Christmas, Scrooge and several of the Rankin/Bass animated specials like The Year Without A Santa Claus and Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer, complete with character voices. The show is both silly and sweet and sure to put you in the holiday spirit.

This series of shows in December sells out every year!

Tony Starlight's Neil Diamond Experience Holiday Style

A multimedia live music tribute to the anointed one, Holiday Style

Tony shall Neil before you! Along with a six-piece band, Tony performs a loving tribute to Neil Diamond with equal parts heart and laughter. Musically the performance is spot on, in fact Tony Starlight sounds so much like Diamond, that fans have remarked, “it’s eerie!” But what makes this show special are the laughs. No other Diamond tribute is this much fun. And we guarantee it’s the only tribute with simulated figure skating! Here’s the kicker: Even people who don’t like Neil Diamond, like this show! You know what you call people who don’t like Neil Diamond, don’t ya? LIARS!

The Best of the Tony Starlight Show

In the fall of 1994, the Tony Starlight Show debuted at Mark’s Hawthorne Pub and the only way to go was up! What started out as the ironic “lounge singer” based on Bill Murray’s SNL character has turned into a Vegas-style musical variety show; a combination of song parody, musical impressions and various tributes and commentary about iconic artists and pop culture trends.

This night Tony will play his favorite bits from the last 25 years. Everything from the Rat Pack through Neil Diamond, Tom Jones, Elton John, Schoolhouse Rock, Journey and on and on.

Tony Starlight's Neil Diamond Experience

Musically, the tribute is faithful to the source material. Vocally, it’s eerie how much Tony sounds like Neil in his prime. Tony Starlight’s Neil Diamond Experience takes the best parts of Neil Diamond’s compelling music and the culture that surrounds it and sets it slightly askew. Simulated figure skating, self-loving monologues, glittery man-blouses all make for a fun evening for fans and those who won’t admit they are fans.
