Improv Workshop: Object Work - Making the Invisible Visible
Made-up props and locations are an important part of creating interesting scenes. It's up to the performers to make their invisible props and locations believable. That's where object work comes in!
In this free, hands-on workshop, we'll explore how to interact with imaginary objects and surroundings in ways that feel natural and believable. We'll practice giving objects a clear size, shape, weight, and location - and, maybe most importantly, remembering where we put them!
We'll reinforce these ideas with exercises and games designed to make object work easier, more comfortable, and more fun. No improv experience is required.
This workshop is free and open to the public. Attendance is limited to 25 participants, so pre-registration is required.
Gut Instinct is an improvisational comedy team in Southwest Michigan. Eschewing the safety of a script, Gut Instinct relies on audience suggestions to inspire scenes that are made up on the spot, with hilarious results! Laugh until your gut hurts!

Tickets purchased online are held for you at the Will Call window of the box office for pickup immediately prior to the show you are attending.
Online ticket sales end 2 hours prior to events. Tickets may still be available at the door.
Ticket holders are guaranteed admission until ten minutes prior to curtain time, at which time seats may be released and tickets voided in the event of a sold-out performance. We are unable to issue refunds or exchanges for released/voided tickets.
