Swing Shift Returns to the Wildish Theater with an Evening of Duke Ellington Classics

Join Eugene-Springfield's funnest jazz big band at Springfield's Wildish Theater Friday October 7 at 7:30pm. Swing Shift Jazz Orchestra will be shedding it's Count Basie coat and putting on a Duke Ellington show featuring some of the Duke's classic music. A few of the songs featured include Harlem Airshaft, Moon over Cuba, Perdido, Solitude, Mood Indigo, and a bunch of others. Duke's charts are all about nuance and this show's going to be a blast.

Swing Shift Jazz Orchestra is proud to be a resident company at the Wildish Theater. We invite you to come over to downtown Springfield and enjoy dinner at a Main Street restaurant such as Plank Town Brewery and walk over to the show in this intimate theater.
