| | True Loves is coming to the Wildish Theater on October 8th at 7:00pm!
The Seattle-based, original instrumental funk & soul group True Loves began in 2014 as a jam session between drummer David McGraw, bassist Bryant Moore and guitarist Jimmy James, and has sinced blossomed into a global force featuring percussionist Iván Galvez, trombonist Greg Kramer, and saxophonists Gordon Brown and Skerik. Together, the group’s live performances and albums have garnered them much acclaim and millions of streams on YouTube.
In 2017, True Loves recorded their debut instrumental album, Famous Last Words, receiving worldwide adulation. The band released their sophomore album, Sunday Afternoon, in 2021. 2024 saw the release of the single “Good Weed and Red Wine” featuring keyboardist Nigel Hall (Lettuce) followed by a second European tour. Another single, "Dopus no. 1,” was released as the B-side on a vinyl 7 inch. True Loves returned to Europe in the fall of 2025 and supported legendary band Ghost Note on their return to the US. The band is at work on their next album with US and European tours planned.

Join the Swing Shift Jazz Orchestra as we blast off for an evening of big band jazz that’s truly out of this world. Swing Shift in Space takes audiences on a musical journey through the stars, planets, and beyond, combining classic swing with the wonder and drama of the cosmos.
The program will feature space-inspired favorites such as “Fly Me to the Moon,” along with imaginative jazz arrangements of selections from Gustav Holst’s The Planets. From the mysterious reaches of deep space to the driving rhythms of a big band in full flight, the evening will showcase the power, color, and excitement of the Swing Shift Jazz Orchestra.
Expect soaring brass, stellar saxophones, swinging rhythms, featured vocalists, and plenty of surprises as Swing Shift boldly goes where no big band has gone before.

Live at the Wildish, Nekromantix brings the house down with their lethal psychobilly music. Led by Kim Nekroman armed with his iconic coffin bass, Nekromantix echoes the ghosts of the rock n’ roll greats and punk rock icons, all with their own flair. With Francisco Mesa on guitar and Mike Mata on drums, they play at supersonic speed giving you a show you’ll never forget.
Mata on the drums performs with an intensity that amplifies the energy. Mesa on the guitars performs killer riffs that surge through you. All while Nekroman storytells with his fervid voice.
Opening for Nekromantix, you’ll hear REZUREX walk the line between rockabilly and punk. Rezurex half-skull-faced frontman Daniel deLeon will lead you through a night of fiendish fun. You’ll hear Manny on lead guitar, K.R.O. on the upright bass, Kurlee on drums, and Daniel deLeon on vocals and guitar.
