| | Pachyderm Package
Do ya love elephants? Consider a Pachyderm Package! Go behind the scenes and see where our elephants hang out at night. Follow this experience up by giving one of our elephants a bath, taking some once-in-a-lifetime pictures, and giving the elephant a snack. Your Pachyderm Package will begin at 11:30 AM and last approximately 1.5 hours.
Zoo admission on the day of your scheduled Pachyderm Package is included. The zoo is open 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM daily. You are welcome to visit the zoo at any time during these open hours.
Children must be at least 4 years old to Participate in the Pachyderm Package.
This tour has a minimum 7-Day cancellation period. We are required to bring in additional staff to accomplish these tours and are unable to cancel that staff last minute therefore we are very strict about our cancellation policy regardless of any circumstances. Please do not book until you are certain you are able to attend the tour. These tours are rain or shine. | | V.I.A.P Package
The VIAP Package is our most popular adventure! Join us behind the scenes of our large carnivore enclosures and see their morning routine. Hang out with two of our "Wild Things" and snap some amazing photos. Head down to our Pachyderm area and see where our elephants hang out at night. Follow this experience up by giving one of our elephants a bath, taking some once-in-a-lifetime pictures, and giving the elephant a snack. Round out your day with a deli-style catered lunch. Your V.I.A.P Package will begin at 10:30 AM and last approximately 3 hours.

Monterey Zoo is open daily from 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM. The zoo is closed on Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.
After your tour, add on a “Meet and Greet” at our elephant play yard where you’ll have an opportunity to feed one of our African elephants. It’s a wonderful experience for human and elephant alike!
*Please note that children must be at least 3 years old to participatein the Meet & Greet and must be accompanied by a paid adult. Anyone who does not purchase a Meet & Greet ticket will not be able to stay at the Meet & Greet activity.

You can not only watch us feed some of our Feline Friends but You Can Help!
Crunch Time takes place prior to Butch's Bedtime. Learn how many pounds of meat we feed our exotic carnivores, how differently some of them behave at feeding time, and best of all give us a hand at one of the most impressive events: Feeding our Big Cats! This activity begins between 4:15-4:30 PM

| | Butch's Bedtime
Every evening before dark, the elephants are bedded down in their custom heated barns. We invite you to help us put them to bed, give them their bed time snacks and tuck them in for the evening. This activity starts between 4:45-5:00 PM
