Classical Greek Theatre Festival presents
Directed by Dr. Lynn Deboeck
While we're all familiar with the story of the fall of Troy, Euripides offers us an ancient twist on the tale in which the famous Helen, whose beauty launched a thousand ships, never, in fact, left for Troy. The meddling Gods instead whisked her away to Egypt while a false Helen incured the wrath of two nations, her family, and husband, leaving the true Helen to pick up the pieces of her tattered reputation and marriage.
The performance is preceeeded by a Greek Drama and History Workshop led by Dr. Alicia Cunningham-Bryant starting at 9:30am.
