(formerly titled We Are All Alice)

Adapted from the novels by Lewis Carroll

Join us for a raucous ride to Wonderland in this unique adaptation featuring all the Wonderland and Looking Glass favorites: Humpty Dumpty, the Mock Turtle, Gryphon, the Red and White Queens, the Mad Hatter and young Alice herself, of course. There will be a bit of singing and dancing in our telling of this wild story, and we’ll all try hard to keep the precariously perched Mr. Dumpty in one solid piece!

Book and Lyrics by Greg Kotis, Music and Lyrics by Mark Hollmann
Directed by Brian Mulligan

“Urinetown” depicts a world wracked by ecological disaster, caught in the throes of corporate greed and ultimately felled by the best intentions. In a Gotham-like city, a depletion of the earth’s water supply has led to a government-enforced ban on private toilets. The privilege to pee is regulated by a single malevolent company that profits by charging admission for one of humanity’s most basic needs. Amid the people, a hero has risen who will lead them to freedom. The New Yorker calls it “a terrifically spirited sendup of musicals and their conventions.” The St. Petersburg Times says it’s“a delicious piece of self-referential wit. [And] like the best of musicals, it has a serious point to make.”

Age recommendation: This performance is appropriate for ages 10 and up.
