Stuck in the desert of a happily ever after that is nothing like they dreamed, Bessie, a chronic do-gooder, and Albert Johnson, a wishful Quixote, try anything to prop up the facade of their marriage. This surrealist play tells the fictionalized true story of Scotty's Castle and the couple from 1910s Chicago who built a mansion for a con man in the middle of Death Valley, CA.
