Something Rotten!
Mainstage Production
Book by Karey Kirkpatrick & John O'Farrell
Music and Lyrics by Karey Kirkpatrick & Wayne Kirkpatrick
In 1590s England, brothers Nick and Nigel Bottom are desperate for a hit, but every play they write pales in comparison to the legendary Bard. When a quirky soothsayer predicts the future of theatre involves singing, dancing, and acting all at once, the brothers set out to create the world's very first musical.
Packed with outrageous comedy, scandalous antics, and toe-tapping songs, Something Rotten! is a hilarious celebration of ambition, sibling rivalry, and the timeless chaos of chasing your dreams - all with a wink and a nudge to the theatre itself.
