As the final Sinfonietta program of the season, CGOA reflects on the energy and diversity – and iconic musical styles - of American music from the mid-20th century. Along with masterpieces by Leonard Bernstein, George Gershwin and Aaron Copland, the program includes the world premiere of a new work by Portland composer Nicole Buetti, and the return of pianist Mitchell Jett Spencer.
