Learn the unique pottery techniques that North Carolina's Appalachian potters have been using for generations. This technique uses slabs of clay and dimensional surface textures, to create pieces that could never be produced using a potter's wheel.

This class will be an art program providing an educational climate that allows students to explore, create, and express themselves through the arts. Students will learn the history of art, art genres, art mediums, and artists of various time periods and their styles.This class will follow the Florida State Standards.
