Hi-Liners Musical Theatre Serving Burien, Des Moines, Normandy Park, Renton, Kent, Tukwila, and Seattle, WA: Putting People Downstage Center Since 1966! Our productions, classes, workshops and camps are open to students ages 3 to 22. We are a non-profit youth theatre dedicated to providing professional direction to our young cast members to develop their talents with the backdrop of quality sets, costumes and a live orchestra, to give both the performers and the audience a genuine Broadway musical experience.

COVID-19 Updates

Fall Classes 2021

At this time, fall 2021 classes will be held in-person att the Highline Performing Arts Center. Check back for updates and additions to our fall class schedule. Please see our COVID-19 Policies and Procedures HERE. (*update coming as more information on King County's Vaccination Verification program is released)

Beginning October 25 King County will be implementing a Vaccination Verification Program. All students 12+ will need to provide proof of vaccination OR a negative COVID-19 test taken no more than 72 hours before each class. We appreciate your patience as we update our policies as the county releases more information on this over the next days and weeks. If your student is 12+ you will be contacted with how to provide vaccine verification.

*Six year olds that are new to our programs should start with a Footlights class.

Description: Children will practice active listening, following directions, and taking turns, BUT DON'T TELL THEM. They'll think we're just playing games, singing songs, and making up stories.

*If your 6 year old is taking class with us for the first time, they should sign-up for Footlights before taking Imagination Station.

Description: Foundation skills of observation, mimicry, maintaining focus, and cueing are practiced in theatre games, stories and songs. Our virtual studio is the perfect place to learn short scenes and songs for performance on our final day!

Musical Theatre Playhouse Wed. 4:30p-5:30p 20

Musical Theatre Playhouse (ages 9-11)

Sept. 29 - Dec. 15       Tuition $250

Description: The Playhouse is a place to learn to make the physical and vocal choices necessary to create a character. Students will work on the fundamental theatrical skills of vocal projection, making character choices, creating stage pictures, and collaborating with other actors.
