Class Description:
For beginners and folks who have never taken an improv class! Dive into popular long-form structures like The Harold and other narrative forms, while exploring how to collaborate with your team to craft compelling, fully realized performances. Each week, you'll engage in exercises that challenge you to think on your feet, listen deeply, and build scenes that resonate with your ensemble. By the end of the course, you’ll have the skills and confidence to create engaging long-form improv performances and will be ready to put on a final showcase for friends and family to enjoy. Come ready to laugh, create, and connect with fellow improvisers!

Pigeon Party!: Theater Adventure for Littles

Class Description:
Pigeon is coming to OFT this March and we get to throw a party for our feathered friend! In this weekly class students will prepare for Pigeon's silly antics while planning a Pigeon appropriate party. Pigeon might have some super goofy requests so get ready to tell Pigeon "No!" 

Over the course of 8 weeks, students will be immersed in a number of different theater elements including, acting, crafting buidling, and story building that will culminate into a final showcase. This class will also include a feild trip with Intercity Transit to ride a bus to the Bus Wash Station! Pigeon might tag along for the ride so remeber, don't let the Pigeon drive that bus! More info about the field trip to come registration.

Class Description:

Join a campaign of fearless adventurers to explore the transformative world of Table-Top Role Playing Games (TTRPG). This 8 week class is a great introduction to the art of Table Top Gaming though puzzle solving, improv exercises, and world building. This session is also open to anyone who has play a TTRPG before and wants to continue flexing their collaborative story telling muscles. Whether it's slaying a monstrous beast, plundering hidden treasures, or talking your way out of immortal contracts, adventurers band together to prevail each quest!

Class Description:
This adult improv class is for all levels of performers looking to build on skills and strengthen their chops as an improviser! As creatives we benefit from collaboration and meeting people where they are at, so each rendition of this class has been and will continue to be unique to the specific group of students. Through play, routine and dialogue: we will build up not only our listening skills and characters, but also a collaborative ensemble. Our work over 8 weeks will prepare the group to perform a low stakes showcase performance of short and long form improv for your friends and family. What the showcase will look like specifically depends entirely on you and what you want to explore

Class Description:
Play! Laugh! Act! And grow in this interactive 8 week class designed to introduce 9-12 years olds to the exciting world of improvisational theater! In this weekly class, students will dive into the basics of improv, learning to think on their feet, collaborate with others, and build confidence! Through a variety of activities and games, they’ll explore essential skills like storytelling, character development, and teamwork, while creating plenty of opportunities for silliness and fun. This class will culminate in a final showcase that students build with their teacher for friends and family to come and enjoy!

Whether you’re new to the game or eager to bring your characters to life with some theatrical flair, this class is the perfect blend of role-playing and coolabrotaive storytelling. Get ready to roll the dice and face a feathery beast never seen before!
