Class Description:
Dive into popular long-form structures like The Harold and other narrative forms, while exploring how to collaborate with your team to craft compelling, fully realized performances. Each week, you'll engage in exercises that challenge you to think on your feet, listen deeply, and build scenes that resonate with your ensemble. By the end of the course, you’ll have the skills and confidence to create engaging long-form improv performances and will be ready to put on a final showcase for friends and family to enjoy. Come ready to laugh, create, and connect with fellow improvisers!

Class Description: Get ready for chills, giggles, and dramatic thrills! In this frightfully fun after-school theater class, students will explore the world of Spooky and Kooky tales. From silly ghosts, mischievous monsters, and eerie adventures, young performers will explore the art of storytelling through character creation, improvisation, movement, and script work all with a deliciously spooky twist! Each week, students will build confidence on stage, strengthen their acting skills, and collaborate to bring original and adapted spooky stories to life. The class will culminate in a final showcase where family and friends are invited to enjoy their performer's ooky-kooky-spooky work!

Class Description:
This classic OFT class is great for brand new performers and seasoned veterans! No matter if this is your first time, or fiftieth, this 8-week course will hone your improv skills, exercise your creativity and quick thinking, and create some dynamic characters. Play your favorite improv games, learn new skills and activities, and build camaraderie with your friends and ensemble. At the end of the 8 weeks you’ll create a fun and dynamic showcase to show off to your friends and family to enjoy!

Over the course of 8 weekly sessions, students will practice monologues and cold readings while learning key techniques to make a strong impression. You’ll receive personalized feedback, tips on how to stand out, and guidance on how to manage audition anxiety. These exercises will culminate in a final showcase on the last session where family and friends will be invited to enjoy a performance that shows off students’ new skills. Whether you’re auditioning for school plays or professional productions, this camp will help you feel prepared, confident, and ready to shine!

Class Description:
This adult improv class is for all levels of performers looking to build on skills and strengthen their chops as an improviser! As creatives we benefit from collaboration and meeting people where they are at, so each rendition of this class has been and will continue to be unique to the specific group of students. Through play, routine and dialogue: we will build up not only our listening skills and characters, but also a collaborative ensemble. Our work over 8 weeks will prepare the group to perform a low stakes showcase performance of short and long form improv for your friends and family. What the showcase will look like specifically depends entirely on you and what you want to explore!

Reach for the stars and over the moon in this after-school workshop designed to introduce students to the magic of theater. Through creative prop and set construction, movement, and acting, students will mingle among the stars and discover their stories to bring to life on stage! Students will explore constellations, star stories around the world, and possibly create their own celestial story. Families will be able to watch their little stars shine in a final showcase on the last session of class.

Whether you're brand new to DMing or already dabbling in it, this workshop covers everything from storytelling and world-building to game rules and improvisation.
