| Neil Simon's Rumors
At a large, tastefully-appointed Sneden's Landing townhouse, the Deputy Mayor of New York has just shot himself. Though it's only a flesh wound, Charlie Brock's self-inflicted injury sets off a series of events causing four couples to experience a severe attack of farce.
As their tenth wedding anniversary party commences, Charlie lies bleeding in another room, and his wife Myra is nowhere in sight. The first guests, lawyer Ken Gorman and his wife Chris, scramble to get “the story” straight before the other guests arrive. As the confusions and miscommunications mount, the evening spins off into classic farcical hilarity.

“There are no lulls in famed screenwriter William Goldman’s 90-minute stage adaptation of the Stephen King story, which Goldman himself translated into the 1990 film… Exposition that took a dozen pages in paperback and at least several minutes on screen plays out…faster than snow piling up in a Colorado blizzard.” —WNBC NY. | Buy Tickets |

Winner of the 2018 Pulitzer Prize for Drama.
Eddie, an unemployed truck driver, reunites with his ex-wife Ani after she suffers a devastating accident. John, a brilliant and witty doctoral student, hires overworked Jess as a caregiver. As their lives intersect, Majok’s play delves into the chasm between abundance and need and explores the space where bodies—abled and disabled—meet each other.

“[COST OF LIVING] slams the door on uplifting stereotypes…Tremendous emotion flows around the impediments Majok has placed in the characters’ paths…In both of [the play’s] stories…the biggest handicaps are the universal ones: fear and disconnection…immensely haunting…[Majok] is exquisitely attuned to the many varieties of alienation hiding in plain sight in America.” —The New York Times. | Buy Tickets |
| Some Things You Need to Know Before the World Ends (A Final Evening with the Illuminati) (SPOTLIGHT)
By Larry Larson and Levi Lee
The setting is the bombed-out, post-holocaust sanctuary of a church, where the Reverend Eddie (clad in long underwear) prepares to deliver his final sermon: “Life Is Like a Basketball Game.” Abetted by his faithful helper, the hunch-backed Brother Lawrence, Reverend Eddie first embarks on a series of wildly funny skits in which Saint Paul and Saint Timothy discuss the shaky position of women in religion; an applicant for sainthood agonizes over what form of martyrdom to pursue; and the Reverend challenges the Devil to a final showdown on the basketball court. And, throughout, there is the unseen but undeniable presence of “The Illuminati,” a mysterious but all-powerful force which guides the destiny of what’s left of the world, and whose baleful influence is clearly felt by Brother Lawrence as he ascends the pulpit to read the newly deceased Reverend Eddie’s final words to whomever is left to hear them.
This production will be performed in the Lee Street Lab Performance Space.
