| | Summer Drama Camp 2026
DRAMA CAMP is one of TWO's most popular, and educational events. Workshops for young people of all ages teach the basics of theatre, as well as some more advanced material. There is even a MUSICAL THEATRE CAMP for teenagers!
Education Coordinator KAYLA KELLEY will conduct four workshops in July. Each workshop covers a five day period, Monday through Friday.
The fee for SUMMER DRAMA CAMP is $100.00. Listed below are the dates and times for each session.
Pre-school (ages 4-6) July 6-10, 9:00 am-10:00 am
Beginner Drama (7-11) July 6-10, 10:30 am-12:00
Beginner Drama (7-18) July 13-17, 10:30 am-12:00
Musical Theatre (12-18) July 20-24, 9:30 am-12:00

| | Summer Shorts 2026
TWO's longtime tradition is back! This festival of original short works draws playwrights from around the world, as their pieces take the stage in their WORLD PREMIERE!
Six short plays provide an invaluable experience for actors, directors, technicians, and of course, playwrights in this popular event. SUMMER SHORTS 2026 opens Friday, July 10 at 7:30, at TWO's historic TRINITY CENTRE. The production continues through July 19 on the following schedule.
July 10 and 11 at 7:30, July 12 at 2:00 pm. July 17, 18 at 7:30, July 19 at 2:00 pm.

| | Steel Magnolias
Robert Harling's comedy-drama about six southern women in a beauty salon has become one of the most popular plays in modern American drama. The stark characterizations, their relationships with each other, the highs and lows of their lives; this is what makes STEEL MAGNOLIAS a favorite of women and men both!
Director Elliott Talkington and his cast will present the play at TRINITY CENTRE September 11-20. Friday and Saturday performances will be at 7:30 pm. Sunday, Sept. 13 will be at the unusual time of 5:00 pm. Sunday the 20th is at 2:00 pm.

Big Frank is back! The most popular horror tale of all time will be created (Get it?) by TWO October 23-November 1st. Just in time for Halloween!
This classic tale needs no description. We all know the thrilling and thought provoking story. Directed by Jeremy Brailsford, and featuring a superb collection of local actors, FRANKENSTEIN 1930 comes to life (Get it?) at THE EMPRESS THEATER, 418 Frederica.

| | Radium Girls
In 1926, radium was all the rage. The new technology was used to shrink tumors, make luminous watches, and made Madame Curie an international celebrity. But then something happened. The girls who painted the watches became ill with a mysterious disease.
RADIUM GIRLS is based on the true story of young Grace Fryer, 15, who led the fight to expose the situation and seek resolution. This TWO YOUTH PRODUCTION brings all the drama and the history to the stage, performed by local teens.
Playing November 13-15 at TRINITY CENTRE, the curtain rises at 7:00 pm on Friday and Saturday, 2:00 Sunday the 15th.

| | The Lion, the Wich and the Wardrobe
It's the holiday season! That means TWO has another fine production for families around the community. C. S. Lewis' The Chronicles of Narnia has fascinated readers for generations. THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE is perhaps the most beloved of those books.
Opening Friday, December 4, this classic Christmas fantasy takes the stage. The adventure of four children who accidentally step into another world; of Aslan the Lion and The White Witch will play December 4-13 at THE EMPRESS THEATER.
Showtimes Friday the 4th and Saturday the 5th are 7:30 pm. The Sunday matinee on Dec. 6th is at 2:00 pm. The same schedule repeats the next weekend, December 11, 12, and 13.

| | Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?
Edward Albee's gut wrenching drama broke ground when it appeared on Broadway in 1962. The play, with its multi-layered characters and its near frightening depth, still challenges mature audiences worldwide.
Two married couples meet for an evening of drinks, games, and emotional assasination in a New England academic setting. As the festivities progress, the players deteriorate, and confrontation becomes inevitable.
Forest Calhoun directs the classic, as it opens Friday, Feb. 12 at 7:30. Subsequent performances are Feb. 13 at 7:30, Feb. 14 at 2:00 pm, and the following weekend: Friday and Saturday, Feb. 19 and 20 at 7:30, and Sunday the 21st at 2:00.

Come see the incredible of Mowgli, a boy raised by wolves in the jungle. With the help of his friends, a bear, a panther, and a python, the "man cub" learns the ways of the jungle, and has thrilling adventures in the process!
Rudyard Kipling's classic comes to life on the stage of THE EMPRESS THEATER Friday, March 12 at 7:00 pm. A TWO youth production, it features young players from Owensboro and the surrounding area. The show continues March 13 at 7:00, and Sunday the 14th at 2:00 pm.

| | Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
Roald Dahl's timeless tale of Willy Wonka, Charlie Bucket and his friends, and the great CHOCOLATE FACTORY has delighted audiences for generations. A group of young people take a tour of the fascinating factory, and find they must grow in personal and spiritual ways as their journey progresses.
CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY is a TWO youth production, featuring a cast of talented students. It opens Friday, June 18th at 7:00 pm at THE EMPRESS THEATER. Subsequent performances are June 19, 20, 25, 26, and 27.
