Fully Vaxxed

A community-centered theater project at the intersection of art and public health

Written By: Ramon Esquivel, Miguel Pineda, Mabelle Reynoso, and youth writers across Washington state
Directed By: Teal Farías, Luz Gaxiola, and Vanessa Postil

Recommended for all ages.

Fully funded by the CDC Foundation, Fully Vaxxed will build vaccine confidence in diverse communities in Olympia and beyond through the commission and statewide tour of three bilingual one-act plays. OFT is proud to represent one of 30 national project selected for this community-building opportunity. Our creative process is being co-designed with a roster of partners across Washington-state who serve Latinx and migrant communities including: WashMasks, Nuestra Casa, Wenatchee Café, the L.U.C.H.A Club at Mt. Vernon High School and more. Working together, we will bring original works of theater, vaccine clinics, and community theater workshops across the state.

All tickets for this show will be available on a sliding pay-what-you-can scale of $5-$35.

Allowing patrons to set their own prices for our tickets helps promote equity in the arts. We hope that those who can pay a little more do, which will allow others who might need to pay a little less still enjoy the wonderfully magic world of live theater.

Additionally, we will hold 25 free-of-cost tickets on a walk-up basis starting one hour before the show.

Special Performance!
ASL Night - March 19 @ 7pm - An ASL (American Sign Language) interpreter will sign during the performance for the deaf and hard of hearing.
