Chuck Gillespie returns to the Lemon Bay stage with another brand new multi-media production.
“The Envelope Please” is a spectacular evening of wonderful music, first heard in the movie theaters across America. Chuck has hand-picked two acts full of some of the greatest musical memories from the Great American Songbook. The composers are a veritable “who’s who” of any Hall of Fame list; from Gershwin to McCartney, spanning the golden years of motion pictures.
Along with the wonderful songs will be the fascinating stories of the music and the films they so wonderfully accompanied. Adding to the experience will be over 200 images illustrating the stories, the history, and our world at the songs’ creations.
Like the amazingly successful and sold out “Moon River Tonight, the Andy Williams Story” of this past season, plan to get your tickets early. This unique show is unlike any other you will see this season.
