Award-winning South Korean pianist, vocalist, and composer Maria Kim headlines a special evening of contemporary jazz at the Lincoln City Cultural Center on Wednesday, July 29, at 7:00 PM. One of Asia's most celebrated jazz artists, Kim is renowned for her expressive vocals, virtuosic piano playing, and chart-topping recordings, earning international acclaim through award-winning albums and performances at premier venues including Blue Note and Jazz at Lincoln Center Shanghai. Joining her is internationally acclaimed Oregon vocalist and songwriter Halie Loren, whose sophisticated blend of jazz, folk, Latin, and pop has earned multiple No. 1 jazz albums in Japan and Canada and captivated audiences across four continents. Together, the two acclaimed artists will present an evening of elegant standards, original compositions, and inspired musical collaboration.
