| During the grueling shoot for The Avengers, Whedon would often gather a group of friends at his Santa Monica home to do casual readings of Shakespeares plays. When they assembled to read Much Ado About Nothing, they realized the actors had the wit and chemistry necessary to bring the play to a new audience. |
